A 1:00 PM EST on Tuesday, April 14th SHG Senior Associates Jessica Bulos, Alyssa Desgranges, and Alyssa Nugent will be presenting a webinar addressing COVID-19 and its impact on reimbursement and collections in the Long-Term Care Industry.
The 90-minute webinar will present a general overview of the various impacts of COVID-19 on Medicaid eligibility, appeals, and private collections. To start, we’ll cover challenges presented by visitor restrictions, shelter-in-place ordinances and the like and offer creative tips on overcoming these roadblocks. We’ll take a more in-depth look of some of the 1135 waivers and discuss their impacts on Medicaid applications, processing, appeals and reimbursement. Finally, we’ll discuss Court closures and review some of the regulations restricting collections and share strategies for tackling these obstacles.
If you have faced specific challenges you’d like us to address, please submit your question(s) by April 7, 2020 and we’ll try to incorporate them into our webinar. Following the presentation, we will allow ample time to address any additional questions or concerns.
