Prior to joining Stotler Hayes Group, Alyssa practiced in the areas of family law, probate and estate planning, and general civil litigation. She also has extensive experience working on mass tort settlement administrations. A Michigan native, Alyssa completed her undergraduate studies at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies with a double minor in Spanish and Criminal Justice. After graduation, Alyssa began her law school education at South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas. During law school, Alyssa served as a Law Clerk for Disability Rights Texas and the Texas Attorney General’s Office in the Medicaid Fraud Control unit. In her graduating class, she was awarded the Dickerson-Moore Humanitarian Award, which is an award presented to a student who has demonstrated exceptional contributions to human dignity through efforts to improve the welfare and human conditions of others both in and outside of the law school community.
