Glaze

Attorney

Prior to joining Stotler Hayes Group, Laura spent the last two decades representing clients in a broad array of matters including entity formation; estate planning, administration, and litigation; conservatorships and guardianships; contract drafting and review; real property disputes; and commercial litigation.  She has also served as a Special Assistant Attorney General assigned to the Division of Medicaid and as the Division Director for Administrative Hearings for the Department of Human Services.

Laura attended Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, where she was inducted into the inaugural class of Mississippi’s first Phi Beta Kappa chapter in 1989.  She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.  After a teaching career at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, she graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi College School of Law in 2002.  While at MCSOL, Laura was a Hearin scholar, a member of the Law Review, and a member of the Charles Clark chapter of American Inns of Court.

Laura has served in leadership positions in the legal community in Mississippi.  She was elected by her peers to the office of President of the Capital Area Bar Association – the largest volunteer bar association in the State of Mississippi - after serving as chairman of committees and on the Board of Directors. Laura was also elected by her peers to serve as a Commissioner for The Mississippi Bar.

Laura has also participated in numerous community activities.  She has served on the Board of Friends of Children’s Hospital, volunteered with reading programs at Morrison and Casey Elementary Schools, participated in Habitat for Humanity building projects, served on the Millsaps Arts & Lecture Series Board, volunteered with Soldier On, served as co-chair of the USA International Ballet Competition Arts & Lecture Series committee, and is currently the president-elect of the Jackson Symphony League.

  • Laura and her husband have three sons: Daniel Gallarno, Mason Glaze, and Gray Glaze.
  • Laura loves to read, watch BBC crime series, and spend time in nature with her husband and their dogs, Lucy and Stella.
  • Laura is licensed in Mississippi and Colorado.
